"The last three characters of the code are the first three letters of my name. The placement of the letters within the code is important, as the letters indicate how much blue and green are in the color. For the vast majority of my life, blue has been my favorite color, so it was natural for me to choose a shade of blue as my official color. I was overjoyed to find that #000ada was such a nice shade of blue: not too light or too dark, and a good saturation level."

"Hex codes do not permit the use of the letters past f, so I could only include the first three letters of my first name in the color code. In order to complete the letter quartet, I decided to name the color M Blue. The primary meaning of M is "my." M Blue is my blue. But the M can also mean marvelous, magnificent, or even mathematical."
